Liftcon is a totally independent lift consultancy company established in 2007, dealing with various aspects of lifts and escalators.
We attained our SANAS accreditation in April 2016. Liftcon is a Type A inspection Body, as per SANAS 17020:2012 Annex A.
We provide impartial regulatory inspections and quality inspections on all types of passenger lifts, good lifts and escalators.
Hugh has over 36 years’ experience in the lift industry in South Africa, which includes maintenance, repairs, installations of new lifts and escalators & new sales.
He also has experience in project management, quality audits and regulatory inspections on lifts, escalators and access goods only lifts.
Hugh is an ECSA Registered Lift Inspector, and a member Lift Inspectors Association of South Africa
SANAS is the South African National Accreditation System which provides accreditation support to the industrial development and the protection of the health and safety of the public and the South African environment. SANAS operates to promote the acceptance of SANAS-accredited results nationally and amongst global partners to advance South Africa’s trade and economic development objectives.
